It Started with One Bible Study
The ministry began as a one-on-one Bible Study in a secured memory-care facility.
From Bible Study to Congregation
Relationships with Residents and facilities develop and grow. A small worship team can eventually become an established congregation
Planting Churches Where People Live
Right now, we only have a handful of congregations in a few elder care facilities and yet we serve more than 300 attendees each month in more than 350 Worship Services and Bible Studies each year. With more assistance, we can reach many more facilities and residents bringing them the glorious Gospel of Peace and Salvation through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ
An Overlooked Mission Field
Thousands of older adults live in communities where attending their former Churches may be difficult or impossible. It is the Mission of Good Shepherd to bring Christian Communities to the places these adults live now
Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
